The Tokai Forest Market has been around for a long time, but about a year ago it was taken over by new organisers. I popped in about 6 months ago, the first time I’d been in ages, and I was pleasantly surprised. It has since become something we do quite regularly on a Saturday or Sunday morning.
The market really has grown, and the vendors have the most amazing stalls. You can get anything from delicious fresh food and coffee, to plants and soaps, plates, hats and even fossils. There’s a jumping castle and playground to keep the kids entertained while mom and dad browse around, all of this nestled under the beautiful Tokai Forest.
For more information please visit their website. In the meantime, have a look at some pics I’ve taken the last few times I’ve been there.
