As mentioned – I’m catching up on some much needed blogging while I’m on maternity leave. Only 3 weeks to go until I meet my little one, I can’t wait! In the spirit of family and babies and all that warm fuzzy stuff, here’s a family shoot I did when I was in Joburg earlier this year.
Lana and I went to school together, and I’m not exaggerating when I say that I think this is the first time I’ve seen her since our last day of school – which was a long, long time ago. She contacted me a few days before I was due to fly and asked if I could squeeze a shoot in for her as her daughter Lexi was turning 1. We managed to make a plan, and even managed to find a nice venue for the shoot in the East Rand (I know right!). A big thanks to the Benoni Lake Golf Club for allowing us the use of their premises for a few hours.
It was really great to see Lana and Alec again, and to meet little Lexi. We battled a bit in the beginning to get her to smile (she’d been feeling a bit under the weather) but once she warmed up we got some really cute images. Thanks Lana for contacting me. It was so good to see you again, I hope we see each other again soon.
